Melissa Griffith grew up in the Mississippi Delta, where her love of painting first took root. She studied at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and now lives and works in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Melissa builds her compositions through many layers of transparent paint, creating depth and luminosity through simple, refined forms. Working primarily in soft, muted palettes, her pieces carry an ethereal quality—quiet and atmospheric, almost like a whisper. As an emerging female artist, she is both proud and grateful to continue doing what she loves while connecting with collectors and designers who resonate with her work.

With more than 30 years of painting experience, Melissa has had her work represented in interior shops, galleries, and art shows throughout the region. Her paintings have also been featured on the HGTV series Fixer to Fabulous, bringing her signature aesthetic into homes across the country.
